Makenzie Cody, OTR/L
Makenzie Cody is faculty in the Pediatric Vestibular Assessment & Rehabilitation Workshop and brings experience from working as an occupational therapist in pediatric early intervention and rehabilitation.
Makenzie received her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center and completed her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas. She completed training during her graduate studies in many different settings including pediatric hospital, school, inpatient rehabilitation, and acute care. Currently, Makenzie is working as an occupational therapist in pediatric early intervention and various adult rehabilitation settings in the Tampa Bay area. Makenzie has a passion for working with children and families to build capacity and find ways to incorporate growth and development into their everyday routines. She believes that participation in occupations improves quality of life and promotes healthy living. She advocates for a client centered, evidence-based approach to therapy.
